Day 01: Arrival Muscat International airport
 
Arrival Muscat International airport, meet & greet by our representative outside the airport, transfer to the hotel & overnight
   
 
   

Day 02: Full day Muscat city tour

 

After breakfast, full day city tour, starting with the beautiful Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque one of the largest mosques in the Middle East. Later on drive to visit Seeb fish Market. There after drive to Natural History Museum, exhibiting the wealth of Oman’s history and thus imparting knowledge about the country’s rich culture and traditions to the visitor. In the afternoon, drive to Quantab, one of the pristine beaches in Muscat, then drive along the picturesque Corniche to the once walled district Muscat, visit Bait Al Zubair Museum.

A photo stops at the residence of his Majesty Sultan Qaboos, the Al Alam Palace, which is flanked by the 16th century Portuguese forts Mirani and Jalali. In the evening stroll through Muttrah Souq, famous of its handicrafts and silver items, back to the hotel and overnight
   
 
   

Day 03: Muscat – Nizwa

 

After breakfast, a full day visit of the historic town of Nizwa, Oman’s cultural capital. Proceeding to Jabrin castle built in 17th century is one of the finest of its kind. Its magnificent plasterwork, the carved doors and the painted wooden beams of the ceilings makes this castle amazingly different. Thereafter continue to Bahla, one of the oldest small towns of Oman and in the 12th century the capital of the tribe living in the region. As the monumental fort is closed for renovation only a photo stop is planned. Bahla is also famous for its pottery (not possible on Fridays and Public Holidays). Then visit Al-Hoota cave, the one of the largest natural cave in Oman, check-in at the hotel and overnight

   
 
   
Day 04: Nizwa – Jabel Shams – Nizwa [B/ PL/] [MINI BUS]
 

After breakfast, visit the powerful Fort with its massive Circular Cannon Tower, one of the most impressive forts in Oman and the traditional Souqs Al Hamra and Misfah. The traditional mud houses dated back from 400 years are still occupied, the falaj system used in this village one of the oldest of this kind (UNESCO site). Later on drive to visit Wadi Gul & Wadi Nalat the remote villages exactly at the drop point of great canyon. Then proceed to Jabel Shams, one of the highest peak of Jabel akdhar mountain range and is popularly known as the Great canyon of Oman. Back to the hotel and overnight

   
 
   
Day 05: Nizwa – Wahiba [04WD] – Sur
 

After breakfast, drive to Wahiba sands, a vast mass of undulating red and white sea of sand. The ever-changing patterns of the dunes are a photographer’s delight. After some exciting sand dune driving which offers excellent thrills and chills for all, drive to Wadi Bani Khalid – an oasis spot in the middle of the barren and dry mountains. It is one of the most beautiful wadis in Oman and its pools with clear deep blue water give you an opportunity to take a refreshing dip. Enjoy the ambiance of the Wadi. Then drive to Sur, renowned for its dhow shipyard in former times. Check-in at the hotel and have an early dinner, then visit the turtle sanctuary at Ras Al Jinz, where at night the Green Turtles, after a journey of thousands of kilometers will come ashore to lay their eggs. Back to the Hotel and overnight.

   
 
   
Day 06:Sur – Muscat - Salalah
 

After breakfast, start a fascinating coastal trip to Muscat. The road leads through scenic countryside and rugged mountains to the small fishing towns. On the coastal road you stop at Bibi Miriam Mausoleum in Qalhat. Then visit Wadi Tiwi, an oasis well known for its lemon and date plantations and then proceed to Fins beach. Later on drive to Muscat enroute Stop at limestone Sinkhole in Bimah and Wadi Arbaeen.
Evening drop at airport to connect the flight to Salalah the tropical paradise of Middle East, check-in at the hotel and overnight.

   
 
   
Day 07: Salalah City
 
After breakfast, visit the “The Museum of the Frankincense Land” at Al Balid, the museum is situated within the ancient harbor of Al Balid, houses many excellent works of art about the rich cultural history of the Dhofar Region. Later drive to make photo stop at the impressive Shanfari Mosque and later at Al Husn Palace (Palace of the Sultan). Stroll through the old Haffah Souq, famous for the sale of high quality frankincense and numerous other Dhofari traditional souvenirs. Visit the new Souq with ample opportunity for shopping, for example gold and silver, back to the hotel and overnight.
   
 
   
Day 08: East & West of Salalah
 

After breakfast, drive to the east Dhofar Region, the first destination is Taqa, in the east. The fort, the landmark of the small town was the Seat of the Wali, the mayor, until 1984. The impressive ruins at Sumhurum give insight into architecture and living conditions of a time more than 2000 years ago. The adjoining port of Khawr Rhori was an important trade center and the main port for the export of frankincense. Just before Mirbat you reach Bin Ali’s Tomb. Ali was revered as a wise and holy man and over his tomb the twin-domed mosque was built. Next to the mosque located an old cemetery, Mirbat, the old capital of Dhofar is known for its old merchant houses, built in traditional ancient Omani architecture. On the way back to Salalah visit Ayn Razat Gardens, a quiet place at the feet of the lush Qara Mountains. After noon proceed in westerly direction towards Mughsail. You will pass by scattered frankincense trees. Mughsail is proud of its idyllic beach and its spectacular ‘Blow Holes’, the water fountains. The last destination of the day is the Tomb of Prophet Ayub (Job) in the mountains north of Salalah. Back to the hotel and overnight.

   
 
   
  Day 09: Salalah Airport – Khasab Airport
 

After breakfast, transfer to Salalah Airport and fly via Muscat to Khasab, upon arrival meet and greet then transfer to the hotel for check-in, then proceed for orientation tour of Khasab city in Musandam, the north most peninsula of Oman overlooking the strait of Hormoz, we start visiting Khasab fort & the neighboring village of Qadah to see the prehistoric cave paintings, also visit Wadi Tawi, back to the hotel and overnight.

   
 
   
  Day 10: Full day Dhow Cruise
 
After breakfast, board on the traditional Arabian dhow for an exciting full day cruise through Fjords of Musandum, the pass through the strait of Hormoz, and through various villages, the cruise anchor at famous telegraph island where you have the opportunity to swim, snorkeling & relaxing in addition to the possibility of see dolphins during this trip. Back to the hotel and overnight
   
 
   
Day 11: Musandam – Fujeirah – Hatta – Al-Ain
 
After breakfast, cross the border and drive via Fujeirah, one the seven emirates towards Hatta, the 200 years old village located in the rough Hajar Mountains, upon arrival visit Hatta fort then enjoy the spirit of adventure by 4X4 proceeding through the rocky landscape crossing wadis and dry river beds. Later on continue to Al-Ain, the greenest of all Emirates; Al-Ain, an oasis surrounded by red sand dunes, it is known as the garden city and considered as one of the oldest settlements in the region, the area boosts farms of vegetables and date trees. We pass by the Hili City famous for green gardens and visit the archaeological part of Hili where a tomb dating back to the 3rd millennium, then stop at the largest camel market in the Middle East, then proceed to the Museum next to old fortress, where archaeological findings of the UAE’s ancient settlement dated back to the Iron and Bronze ages are existed. Then we continue our trip to the most beautiful landscape, Jebel Hafeet - a bird’s eye view from the Jebel Hafit-the tallest mountain in the UAE. Dinner at the hotel and overnight
   
 
   
Day 12: Al-Ain – Abu Dhabi S/S – Dubai
 
After breakfast, drive towards the capital of the UAE and the administrative center of the country, Abu Dhabi which is recognized as the Manhattan of the middle east, on the way we pass through Jabel Ali and the free zone which is the largest port in the world, upon arrival to Abu Dhabi visit the Heritage Village, then drive along the beautiful corniche with a breathtaking panoramic view over the city skylines, then we visit Al-Hisn Fort, and shoot the Emirates Palace, the world most exclusive hotel, then pass by Sheikh Khalifa’s Palace, President of the United Arab Emirates, then we take a trip to the Batinah harbor, finally a stop by the Sports city and visit the biggest mosque in the UAE and the world 3rd biggest mosque, Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan the founder of the UAE. Later on drive towards Dubai, dinner at the hotel and overnight.
   
 
   
Day 13: Half day city tour of Dubai – pm. Free at leisure
 
After breakfast, we start Dubai tour which reveals a magnificent contrast between the Arabian culture and the modernity, we head to Dubai museum, a treasure house of historical relics, that is housed in the Al Fahidi Fort, the museum offers a fascinating insight of the city in the pre-oil days, then visit the textile market, the old souk, world trade center of Dubai, Bastakia quarter, afterwards we cross the Creek (Al-Khor) by abara, floating boat taxi to Deira, visiting the spices souk and the gold souk which is the biggest in the world.
Then we drive over Sheikh Zayed Road through the skylines and the impressive emirates Towers and skylines till Jumeirah town, visit Jumeirah Mosque which shows the beauty of Islamic architecture, then a panoramic stop by Burj Al-Arab Hotel one of Dubai’s most recognizable landmarks and the world’s tallest hotel.
Pm. free at leisure … overnight.
   
 
   
Day 14: Departure Dubai International airport
  After breakfast, transfer to Dubai International airport for final departure.
